Even if you’re comfortable with your present hand, redrawing cards to build up for the next turn can be beneficial. It’s a liberal mechanic that assures you’ll always have a playable hand. You can redraw up to 2 cards per round, discarding them and replacing them with cards from your Deck. Relying on character strengths becomes more crucial later in the game, so start early. Defend against physical strikes while Copernica fills up the SP Gauge. Luckily, the heroes’ and foes’ stats are low enough in the first scene for Book Bash to do some damage. It’s a caster’s physical assault, and Copernica’s low Strength implies it’s not ideal for her Deck. Book Bash, one of Copernica’s opening cards, is bad.
